This also was a huge surprise, I expected this film to suck, no pun intended :). However, It was a thrill from start to finish, and very, very funny. Admittedly, I am such a little wimp these days I was on the brink of crying a little here and there... It was exciting, a great family movie, and is the best Halloween cartoon film I have seen to date. (and in my opinion, better than The Nightmare Before Christmas).
This film features an all-star cast from Selena Gomez, to Adam Sandler, Andy Samburg, Fran Drescher, Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, David Spade, Chris Parnell, CeeLo Green, Molly Shannon, and John Lovitz.
A young vampire comes of age.... at 118.... and wants to see the world! Her father is afraid of losing her like he lost his wife (thanks to us horrible humans) and does everything in his power to prevent anything from happening to her. Meanwhile, a human finds this hotel which should be impossible for humans. And of course, it is the vamps bday so all the monsters are in for her big day. Dracula tries to get rid of the human, rather comically, and well.... I can't say much else except. Dracula and the other monsters realize us humans aren't as awful as we used to be, and that we accept who they are!
A must see! And if all that doesn't entice you, let me say, It's a Tim Burton film! .... Is your car running yet? lol! 5*'s
