It's Mean Girls Day, So in honor of that...

Mean girls! [technically it's 12:05 am, and that day was yesterday, but if you don't tell, I won't ;) ]

Mean Girls is the new Clueless, and no doubt one of the most quoted movies (according to everyone, but I have only quoted it a few times.) I am sure most of you have seen this, and yet, I am still posting. Deal with it. And if you haven't seen it, well then hop on to netflix because they added it last month.

This movie is great and is a comedic take on high school with the vicious animal sounds, and all the pranks. It pretty much launched Rachel McAdams', Lizzy Caplan's, and Amanda Seyfried's career. As well as the boy both Lindsay Lohan and Rachel M want, but his quickly faded off the radar. Lacey Chabert has done more low-key film i.e. abc family. Other memorable names are Tiny Fey, Amy Poehler, Tim Meadows, Ana Gasteyer. Also known as most of the cast from the 2000's SNL. Another familiar face is Neil Flynn, a.k.a. The Janitor from scrubs. Neil and Ana play Katie's parents.

Katie (LiLo), has been homeschooled all her life and has just moved from Africa with her parents and goes to a public school for the first time, and lucky for her... it's high school. She is quickly made aware of all the cliques, and of course. The Plastics. She is welcomed into their circle and with her cohorts she devises to a plan to divide The Plastics, and ruin Regina George's life (Rachel McAdams). Along the way, she becomes their leader, Regina well... I'm sure you can guess, and Katie becomes full-on, hard, plastic. (No, not literally.)

I found it very frustrating that I love LiLo movies but hate her. Love Parent Trap, Mean Girls, Georgia Rules, Freaky Friday. Don't love but like Just My Luck and Herbie: Fully Loaded. What a predicament! lol.

Thoughts?

Much Love,

Avg Girl
